چکیده

Background Single Molecule Biophysics (SMB) represents one of the fastest-developing and most advanced fields of application for nanopositioning, with extreme requirements for positioning performance, stability and synchronization Significant recent advancements in SMB instrumentation and other sub-nanoscale endeavors benefit from leveraging new interfacing technologies offering fast speeds and, especially, low latency. These successes illustrate the inadequacy of conventional interface metrics for architecting time-critical processes.
